Hi there!
Many thanks to you all who read my first post. I apologise, I have been a bit ‘AWOL’ lately – it’s been a crazy week!
I’m back now to write my second post and I hope you all enjoy it!
A Way to Happiness
My wise boss once said to me ‘you are at the beginning of a very long life, set yourself some rules for how you want to live it through. How does Hayley want to experience this amazing life called life? Many things will try to challenge you to change these rules but fear not and stick to them! Defend what is good for Hayley. Be independent and be individual’.
It blew my mind away when I heard these words. It dawned on me right then and there that what he was saying is very true. And I will be forever grateful for the impact this has had on me. It has encouraged me to make the best out of life.
So, how can you make the best out of life? And how can you really be happy?
It’s simple! You are ultimately in control of how you let your emotions guide you. If you find it difficult to do so, just remember that there is no real reason to stress over the things you cannot control – it will only breed misery and that’s the opposite of what we are trying to achieve. The moment you let others control your life, you will fail. You will become so engulfed in unhappiness from around you that you will become unhappy. And that’s why I am writing, to show you that you can make a positive difference.
Each day is a new beginning. Wake up in the morning and tell yourself that today is going to be a good day. Because everyday is a good day, unless you make it otherwise. And why would you knowingly choose to live this way…
Sometimes life can be overwhelming and throw things at us that we don’t expect, I understand that. And if you look at these factors below, you can help yourself to be a more positive person and maintain your happiness.
- Reduce Stress
- Achieve a Work/Life Balance
- Exercise
- A Balanced Diet
- Relationships
- Technology
These six factors are main contributors to how a person lives their life. Within the next few days, look out for more posts as I will be explaining each factor in more detail, including how you can use these factors in a practical way.
Thanks again for following me in my journey to wellness.
